Twyford Cookers was founded in 1990 as a small, quality-focused operation dedicated to breathing new life into classic cookers. In those early days, the business operated from a reclamation yard near Gloucester, where careful restoration work gave treasured cooking appliances a second life.

In 1994, the business relocated to a farm in Herefordshire, from which it took its distinctive name. What began as something of a cottage industry quickly grew as word spread about the exceptional quality of work and genuine expertise on offer.

Growth and Recognition

As demand increased, so did the business. A move to a factory unit near Hereford was followed in 2000 by relocation to larger premises at a local trading estate. The steady expansion reflected growing recognition of Twyford Cookers' expertise and reliability.

A significant milestone came in 2007 when the business formed an official trading partnership with one of Britain's most prestigious cooker manufacturers. This partnership validated years of dedicated work and positioned Twyford Cookers as the premier authorised renovator in the country.

In April 2011, another expansion saw the business move to its current purpose-built facility in Leominster. This impressive location houses a modern factory, offices, and an extensive showroom that has been designated as a Deluxe Design Centre.
